Wet Coating Process
It is named this way because the type of paint used is liquid. Brush, roller, dipping and paint guns (air-airless) are various application methods. Today, wet paint applications are preferred intensively because of their practical, economical and applicable to large surfaces. With each passing day, its use in industrial production and work areas has become more common. Wet coating applications developed as an alternative to powder coating application; With the advantages of thin or thick film thickness application, curing at very low temperatures compared to powder paint, drying and curing at ambient temperature for some paint types, it enables a significant increase in the application area in the industry.
Wet coating covers the standard industrial coating process. In other words, after the pre-treatment and cleaning process, a wet coating booth and then a wet paint oven are needed. The last stage of the wet paint application process is the firing process. With this system, the wet paint is dried on the applied surface. In this way, it is possible to both attract appearance and extend the life of the material.
